Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble
The Tampa YMCA offers many health programs to improve the lives of our community. The race benefits Tampa Y Healthy Living programs offered at no or low fees, including LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA.
The race takes place annually on Thanksgiving Day morning in Downtown Tampa. YMCA members, friends and visitors participate in a 1-mile fun run, a 5K or 8K run or walk. It's a fun way to start the holiday and support the community. Race participants enjoy a chilling morning and dress up like turkeys, toting strollers and dogs at the event.

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA
The LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA program provides those who are battling cancer and those in remission the opportunity to join a free, 12-week program with others a chance to reclaim their health. Your donations make this possible. A certified LIVESTRONG® instructor leads the small group in exercise training sessions, and participants often form personal connections and emotional support with their peers. Participants gain physical and mental strength and form lasting friendships at the Y.
