The Tampa YMCA BASE program provides children a safe place to go and make friends, learn, play and exercise after every school day. Tampa Y after school counselors are supportive, encouraging and fun professionals certified in CPR and First Aid. The Tampa Y Before & After School program is offered at over 20 elementary schools in Hillsborough County. After school counselors and site supervisors encourage and support students throughout the afternoon. Kids have time for friends and fun, homework, crafts, snack and more.
If your child attends school near one of the three YMCA locations that offer an after school program, they are in for an extra special experience. From school dismissal until the evening, kids have time for study hall, friends, and exercise in a safe environment. Some locations offer outdoor adventures and sports.

The Tampa Y EHS is a delegate agency of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners Head Start/Early Head Start program. Our goal is to partner with family child care homes throughout specific zip codes in Hillsborough County, and provide full-day, full-year comprehensive services to children and their families, from birth to three years old.
When school is out, camp is in! Bring your kids to the Y during winter and spring break and non-student days throughout the school year. The kids will experience a full day of camp while you work or take the day off.
Stay & Play is child care for kids ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. At our family centers and select wellness centers, Y staff members engage and supervise children in a montessori-style environment while you work out.
The Sulphur Springs Neighborhood of Promise (SSNOP) is a collaborative effort of residents, educators, service providers, government agencies, business leaders and funding partners. This group has joined together to implement a program in which Sulphur Springs continuously becomes a desirable community that offers a safe and nurturing environment with equitable access to resources ensuring the best possible quality of life.
The Achievers program is a national college readiness program designed to help teens set and pursue educational and career goals, raise their academic standards, develop a positive sense of self, explore diverse college and career options and connect them to professionals that inspire them to reach their potential.
The program is designed for students in grades 7 – 12 and is facilitated by a Leaders Club Advisor. It requires a commitment to attend regular club meetings, earn volunteer hours and achieve fitness goals.
