Dance Class and Teams

From parent & child and preschool dance classes to intermediate and advanced dance classes for teens, the Tampa Y has a dance class for every age and skill level. The youngest dancers will develop a love for the arts that can last a lifetime. The goal of dance class is for dancers to gain coordination and balance.

Children (ages 6 & up) who are already participating in dance classes can join the Tampa Y in advanced programs for a greater challenge. Advanced dance class instructors focus on increasing the difficulty of skills to strengthen dancers’ performances.
